Hello!

I am a UI / UX designer with expertise in product and system design. I love blending analytical and creative thinking to tackle complex challenges and design beautiful solutions that make a difference in people’s lives. My focus is visual design, but my knowledge of user research & user experience design informs my process and work.

I am currently updating my website. Please forgive the unpolished experience, and check back soon for new content. Thank you for your patience!

Background

For the last three years I’ve worked at Big Tomorrow, designing digital products and experiences in healthcare, education and entertainment. I’ve designed for a range of users, from 4-year-olds learning to read to elderly surgery patients, and taken a product from initial brainstorming and user research through delivery and QA with developers.

Previously I worked for Cloud City Development as a UI / UX designer, interned at Amazon Lab126 on the Fire TV design team, and did freelance work for a variety of startups and individuals, designing logos, websites, and presentations.

I received my MFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in 2014, and my BA in 2010 from Stanford University, in Comparative Literature and Creative Writing. I am a member of AIGA SF, and have taken classes including Tufte’s Presenting Data and Information, and Type@Cooper’s 10-week course on Principles of Typeface Design.
